Paula May was born and raised in Missouri City, TX, just southwest of Houston. Her background in marketing and business strategy spans over 15 years, starting with helping to manage her father’s small steel fabrication business. (Fun fact: Paula was helping to train shop welders at the age of 13!)
After the sale of their family business, Paula worked for a non-profit organization as their Marketing and Administrative Director. It was through her work there that she was awarded a letter of recognition by Houston Mayor Annise Parker for her charitable efforts and contributions to the community. In 2013, Paula tugged a Uhaul behind her little hatchback and made her way to Austin. She’s since helped establish and grow hundreds of successful businesses.
In her free time, she loves traveling and eating all the food with her young daughter, Myah, and their dog, Guacamole.
