Gabby was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. After getting her Bachelors in Marketing from the University of Utah, she worked for a few small local businesses that ranged from a fashion consulting agency (so. much. fun.) to a speech therapy clinic (so fascinating!) trying out her newfound marketing skills. She then went on to work for a bigger company learning the ins and outs of long form content strategy. Gabby moved to Austin in the exceptionally hot summer of 2019 with her best friend and golden retriever and is loving life in Texas. While there is not enough skiing (zero) in this state she loves the culture and is happy to call this place home! 

Since joining the Volusion Studio team Gabby has taken her organic marketing skills to the next level. She loves thinking of new strategies and finding creative solutions to problems. Her favorite part of working at Volusion is getting to work with business owners to grow their online presence and get them more sales. 

Conversion tip: Aesthetics matter! Use quality photos, keep design clean and minimal if possible and make your copy easy to read i.e., use font that is a good size, color, and style. Make your website a pleasant experience for your customers.
