Clara was born and raised is Austin, Texas – a rare breed (though not-so-rare at Volusion) who remembers when Austin was a small, grungy, hippy town – traffic-free and full of friendly and familiar faces. Over the years, she has worked in a wide variety of industries, including environmental protection, and many sales and service industry jobs while spending much of her free time putting together sales presentations for Marketing companies and eventually landing a spot with a full service Marketing Agency as a sales rep, in 2012. She began developing connections with her clients and became invested in their success. She wanted to gain a better understanding of the ins and outs of the services they were purchasing; what service fits best and what their post purchase experience was like. She worked to gain a deep understanding of the world of the search engines, paid and organic. She studied the algorithm and enlisted all the help she could get from the brilliant marketing specialists she worked alongside over the years. Over time, she has gained a well-rounded understanding of marketing and realized her passion for helping people fulfill their dreams of running a successful ecommerce business.

In her free time, she is usually on the go, caring for her pre-teen son, Samuel, and their 5 year old Border Collie, Lucy.
