We spend a lot of our time on the blog talking about ways you can improve your business through digital marketing. Our goal has always been to provide value for our readers so that they can take some of the things that we’ve learned and use it to their benefit.
This post is a little bit different.
Not only is the coronavirus having an impact on the business economy, but it’s also a very real health concern. Here at Studio, we’ve made changes to prevent the chance of spread and allow our employees to work from home if they have a concern about COVID-19.
As a business owner, you might be wondering what you can do to help spread awareness about the coronavirus and keep employees and customers safe and informed. A great way to do that is by simply sharing information on your website with details about how you’re dealing with COVID-19 and what others can do to help mitigate its spread and make sure the most vulnerable are protected.
Below, we’re providing you with several things to help join the awareness movement:
- Customizable Commitment & Awareness letter about COVID-19 and how your employees/customers can prevent it
- Customizable graphics pack to use on your site & social profiles
- Hand washing graphic to post online and in bathrooms
Feel free to download the resources below and utilize them on your site. If you want to customize the graphic, use the .PSD file to add in your company name and logo file.
We recommend you also add information that pertains to your own business/customers to the Commitment & Awareness letter.
If you need assistance getting these customized and published on your website, you can email us at covidawarenessletter@gmail.com and we can help you get it up on your site.

What You Can Do
The Centers for Disease Control has issued guidance for COVID-19 prevention and treatment, including the following:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
- CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
- Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
- The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a healthcare facility).
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
- CDC’s full guidance can be reviewed here, and the World Health Organization (WHO) are updating their sites with the latest information.
